Description

This part of the church marble transom decorated with the writings of Despot Stefan Lazarević was found in the Lower town of the Belgrade Fortress. Writings are inscribed with decorative letters and ligatures, which is a distinctive feature of paper writings. This feature gives properties of a high-class work of art to this object. Writings describe Despot Stefan Lazarević additions and renovations of the church.
