Description

Over 300 steppe bison remains from the period of the last Ice Age were found in Ram on the Danube. Bones have been purchased, stored and preserved in the Museum’s courtyard in the specially made cabinet. Steppe bison was very large, at least two meters high and weighed about 1500 kg with a horn span more than a meter. It lived in Europe, Asia and North America.
