Statuette-idol, discovered during archaeological excavations in Vinča and determined as a part of the Baden culture, is a representative sample of anthropomorphic plastic, otherwise rare in this cultural group. The prehistoric artist-craftsman decorated the entire surface of this very stylized representation of women’s emphasized attributes by cuts making a zigzag ornament.
